The Solution Lab Rur-Erft (SLRE)

We are leaving traditional consulting and one-sided knowledge transfer behind. With SLRE, we are creating a collaborative platform where stakeholders can interact directly with complex models and heterogeneous data sets.

Solution Lab Rur Erft (SLRE)

[Translate to English:] The Solution Lab Rur Erft (SLRE) aims to combine scientific data and models in a digital twin in order to consider solutions for dealing with extreme water events, both droughts and floods, in their full context. This takes place in a key element, the "Interactive Solution Room", where various interest groups can meet with scientists and immerse themselves in the digital twin. There you can explore the implications of the problems and the solutions that have been developed in co-design with you. Against the backdrop of numerous uncertainties, identifying and closely examining these solutions is a key challenge for future water supply security and adaptation to climate change. Multilateral knowledge transfer is structurally integrated into SLRE, allowing innovative scientific processes and local practical knowledge to converge and contribute to finding realistic solutions.
